Cindy Graff - Cindy is the Office Manager for Agassiz Insurance Group and a producing agent out of the Greenbush location. She specializes in commercial insurance and bonds, and holds a CISR designation.
Gary Trangsrud - President of Agassiz Insurance Group. Gary is licensed in health, property and casualty, and Real Estate Broker's license with Agassiz Realty. Gary is located in our Greenbush location.
Roger O. Green - Roger is our Crop Insurance Specialist of more than 20 years, and serves all three of our locations, focusing on crop and farm insurance. Roger is based out of the Greenbush office.
Matthew T. Williamson - Matt is licensed in both insurance and real estate with Agassiz Realty. His specialty is farm insurance, is an active producer in all lines of business, and is based out of the Greenbush location.
Marilee G. Svegdahl - Marilee is a producing agent out of our Greenbush location and specializes in home, auto, umbrella and flood insurance. Marilee currently holds a CISR designation.
Julie A. MacCallum - Julie is the Sales Manager for the company and is a producing agent in our Warroad location, specializing in commercial, life and health insurance. Julie currently holds the CIC, CISR designation.
Pam Rachuy - Pam has been with Agassiz Insurance Group for over 25 years. She is a producing agent in our Warroad location, specializing in home, auto and commercial insurance. Pam holds a CISR designation.
Denice M. Kimble - Denice is a producing agent out of our Warroad location, specializing in personal and commercial insurance, licensed in life and health as well, and currently holds a CISR designation
Brooke Nelson - Brooke is the newest member of our insurance team. She is a producing agent out of our Warroad location, and is an integral part of the team that works closely with our other agents.
Michelle Skime - Michelle is as a producing agent in our Roseau office, specializing in personal and commercial lines. She is licensed in life and health insurance and currently holds a CISR designation.
Our History
In 1968, the Greenbush Agency, Inc. was formed. Incorporating officers, were I.S. Folland, K.B. Trangsrud, and Rod Langaas. Under the management of Rodney Langaas, the insurance agency continued to grow and expand its services. In the mid 70's, Real Estate Brokerage became part of Greenbush Agency this vital service was added to serve area customers. Through the late 70's and earlier 80's, Greenbush Agency continued it's growth and expansion.
In 1983, Lake of the Woods Agency, Inc. was incorporated for the purpose of Real Estate and Insurance Sales. Later that year, the insurance portion of the business was purchased by Greenbush Agency, Inc., and an office in Roseau was opened soon after to better serve the area customers. With offices now in Greenbush, Warroad and Roseau this expansion made insurance and real estate available throughout the county.
In 1997, both Agencies made a name change. Greenbush Agency, Inc. and Lake of the Woods Agency Inc., changed their DBA's to Agassiz Insurance Group and Agassiz Realty. This would clarify the affiliation and identify more closely all three of the locations in Greenbush, Roseau, Warroad.
Agassiz Insurance and Realty has always strived to adapt and evolve to be able to provide products and service to its area customers and meet their ever changing needs. The main reason our business survives and succeeds for over 4 decades, is our staff and their dedication to our customers.
